Emergency Rescue Corps ( Volunteer Engineers) R&D Projects

We work with many companies within the Emergency Rescue Industry (R&D), see...
Overseas Expeditions, this helps to fund our project work on behalf of the Volunteer
Rescue Teams both here in the UK and overseas.

There have been may projects (to many to publish here), below is just a taster of the
main Projects from last year and this.

RSS / XML Team News Feeds     (2006)

We were tasked by (VR Team Members) to look into RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to see
if it would be of use to the VR teams as a way of having a greater publication outlet for their
website news pages etc, "PLUS" if possible to provide a simple / easy Step by Step guide to
setting up the system. -----Project Accomplished----

T.A.S.R.U. Thermal (image) Airborne Search Response Units  (2005)

In January 2005 the Emergency Rescue Corps R&D Team were approached by members
of International Search & Rescue Teams, who between them have attended the Mozambique
Floods, Indian Earthquake, Iranian Earthquake, the Tsunami and many others.

They informed us of their large area / mass population search problems and asked us to look
into the possibility of Search Teams operating a Thermal Image Search Aircraft for use both
here in the United Kingdom and on overseas missions. -----Project Accomplished----
